Thank you, Advisors, for your thoughts, opinions, and insights in 2007. Your participation in SpiritedTalk.org is helping us create products and services that enrich the faith lives of the Catholic community. Here's what you helped us accomplish in 2007:

In May we invited you to share your personal stories of forgiveness, reconciliation, hospitality, and personal sacrifice to help thousands of other parents across the country teach these essential lessons to their children. We are very grateful for the inspiring stories you submitted, and we are pleased to tell you that several of them will appear in our new sacramental-preparation resources for children and families in 2008.

In August we asked for your advice on four book concepts. One of them described the heart-wrenching struggles and surprising joy a Jesuit priest experienced as he worked in a Sudanese refugee camp over the course of six years. You told us you loved this concept and enjoyed reading the excerpt we provided. As a result, we're publishing They Come Back Singing: Finding God with the Refugees in February 2008.

In September we asked for your feedback on a new Web site concept to help people become more mindful of God's presence in their lives. We're responding to your positive feedback by launching www.Other6.com, an interactive site that takes the essence of St. Ignatius's examen (the "examination of consciousness") and brings it to the Web.
